Partner in Raising Disciples Together
Rooted in the Word.
United in Mission.
At Lincolnway Christian Academy, we believe Christian education is a calling best lived out in partnership—with families and the Church.
As an already established PreK–12 school grounded in biblical truth, we invite your church to join us in raising the next generation of disciples.
Let’s equip students together—with faith, wisdom, and courage to impact the world for Christ.
Rooted in Scripture. Unapologetically Christ-Centered.
At Lincolnway Christian Academy, we are joyfully committed to teaching every subject through the lens of Scripture. We partner with churches who share our conviction that the Bible is the ultimate authority—not just in matters of faith, but in shaping how we educate, disciple, and live. While we welcome students from all backgrounds, we teach from a biblical worldview that reflects the historic Christian faith and its implications for life, identity, and family.

Mission Statement
LCA’s mission is to partner with families to guide children toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, educate them through a Christian worldview, and prepare them for a life of service to Christ and their world. The school aims to nurture spiritual growth alongside academic and personal development.
Statement of Faith
This section details LCA’s core theological beliefs, rooted in evangelical Christianity:
Scripture: The Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, inerrant in their original form, and the supreme authority in faith and practice.
God: One God exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ: Born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, He died as a substitutionary sacrifice for humanity’s sins, and all who believe in Him are justified by faith through His shed blood.
Humanity: Created in God’s image, humans fell into sin, incurring physical and spiritual death (eternal separation from God in hell), and are born with a sinful nature.
Gender and Creation: God creates each person as either male or female, reflecting His glory. These two distinct sexes are equal in dignity but differ in roles, and LCA does not affirm cultural confusion around gender due to sin, emphasizing God’s design.
Salvation and Eternity: Christ’s imminent return is affirmed, and those who accept Him by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God. There will be a bodily resurrection, with eternal blessedness for the saved and eternal punishment for the lost.
Christian Philosophy of Education
LCA’s educational approach is grounded in biblical principles:
Wisdom: Distinguishes between earthly wisdom (seen as flawed) and spiritual wisdom, which comes from God as the source of all true understanding.
Purpose: Christian education aims to lead students to a saving relationship with Christ, encouraging them to live according to God’s will through a life of service and dependence on Him.
Integration: God’s Word must be naturally integrated into all school areas—academics, extracurriculars, and administration.
Parental Role: Parents are the primary educators, responsible for raising children in God’s way, with the school supporting this role. Disobedience to this principle may lead to consequences, while obedience brings blessings.
Institutions: God ordains marriage (one man, one woman), the family, and the Church to fulfill His will. The Church supports families through Sunday school and Christian schools like LCA, which provide Christ-centered academics and activities to train children in godliness (Prov. 22:6).
Student Expectations: LCA seeks to develop mature, Christ-like students, requiring them to exhibit Christ-like qualities and refrain from immoral behaviors (e.g., sexual immorality, substance abuse, theft, gang affiliation, weapons). The school may refuse enrollment or expel students who engage in such practices, even if parents hold differing beliefs.
Statement of Objectives and Purpose
LCA’s objectives align with its mission:
Guide students to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Offer a quality, God-centered co-educational program from preschool to 12th grade.
Develop students’ spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional potential.
Prepare students for both this life and eternity.
Meet individual student needs through proper placement, ability grouping, and ongoing guidance.
Instill respect for God, self, and others, fostering personal responsibility, sound decision-making, a healthy self-image, and a discipline of daily devotions for a joyful Christian life.
Statement of Nondiscrimination
LCA admits students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities, without discrimination in educational policies, admissions, scholarships, or athletics. However, the school reserves the right to deny admission to those who cannot benefit academically, have disqualifying disabilities, or whose lifestyle conflicts with LCA’s stated philosophy and purpose.
This section establishes LCA’s commitment to a Christ-centered education, emphasizing biblical authority, the centrality of faith in all aspects of school life, and a partnership with parents to raise children in alignment with Christian values.
